BrandBox Marketplace at Tysons Corner Center
The Guesst platform is a complete Retail-as-a-Service (RaaS) solution that automates and streamlines the process for digitally native brands to get their product into a physical storefront. The service reduces friction between the retail operator, the landlord and the brand by facilitating all sales transactions, payments, inventory tracking and data reporting. In the BrandBox Marketplace pilot, Guesst will also provide knowledgeable, experienced staffing for the space, thus enhancing the shopper experience.
“With the Guesst partnership, we are excited to introduce a variety of popular, new brands to shoppers at Tysons Corner Center in time for the holiday season,” said Kurt Ivey, VP of Marketing at Macerich. “BrandBox is the perfect home for the Marketplace because shoppers are coming here to discover the latest direct-to-consumer brands. It’s a store format we’re excited to test at BrandBox.”
BrandBox Marketplace Powered by Guesst will be a retail collective lab featuring premium brands across various categories such as home goods, apparel, beauty and jewelry. A few of the brands in the collective include Welden Bags, THEY New York, Faherty, Hickies,SigiKid, Stutterheim, Jared Lang, Rhone, UPMATIC, and Tide Hill. In addition to showcasing products, the BrandBox Marketplace will feature regular in-store activations and events and knowledgeable staff including stylists and designers. Guesst will continually source and connect with new, compatible brands through the platform’s easy search and live chat functions.
“Retailers and brands today have a critical need for an innovative commerce approach that joins together the best of both online and offline retail operations,” said Jay Norris, Founder and CEO of Guesst. “Macerich introduced BrandBox with this in mind, which made it a natural fit for our first marketplace concept. Guesst and BrandBox have lowered the barrier for smaller brands to have a physical store presence in a premium location, Tysons Corner Center.”
Guesst will launch BrandBox Marketplace at Tysons Corner Center on Friday, November 29th. For more information visit brandbox.guesst.co.
